Chinese New Year is the biggest festival in china,commonly known as Spring Festival. And it is the most important festival in the whole year.Actually we do not the truth meaning about this festival, but we know in this festival all the family will celebrate this festival together.According old peoples say that festival relate to the myth,and the traditions.In my memory,all my relatives will came to my house, whatever how busy they are.
Chinese festival is known as chuxi,it is literally mean the year pass.And in this festival people usually thoroughly cleans the house and clean out all the‘unlucky things' before the several days of this holiday. What is more,the most happiness thing is that the family can gather the family member to celebrate Spring Festival.Because at the daily life, the elders can not see their child and grand child usually,so this is a good opportunity to get along with them.People will pour out their money to buy present,food and the new clothes or something else.People prefer to buy the new clothing, because they believe that the new things can bring lucky and it also can make people change the old figure.The most intereting thing is people would like to buy the new socks, and the socks must write down a sentence is trample bad people.That means people do not want to meet some people bad or unlucky things. There are still some taboos,such like people can not say death,or bring some unlucky things go back to home.On the other hand,food is the special things in this festival,including chicken, ducks, a varity meats and the important food is dumplings. Also, the whole family will end the night the TV show, or chat with their children until the morning. The first thing in the morning is the people have to give the blessing to each other. Especially, the child need greet their parents by wishing them a healthy and happy new year, and recieve money in the red envelops. Chinese New Year is a great way to reconcile.
